Tip's Story

Howdy! My name is Tip! I am an eighteen-month-old shepherd mix that is just itching to find a new home. I guess I had a home at some point, but I guess I got lost or something. Anyway I was hanging around a very nice older neighborhood in town and someone saw me. They called Animal Control, because I was a stray, but also I had an injured tail! Ouch!! I can't remember exactly what happened, but it hurt!! After waiting my allotted time, I went up for adoption! Yipeeee! I was given all of my vaccinations, I got a microchip, and I was neutered! Oh but here is the best part....they fixed my tail!! NO more pain when I wag my tail! There was one little thing that did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive. That means I will need treatment, but the shelter already has me lined up to start! Say maybe you could foster me through my treatment and then adopt me! What a great idea!!
