This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. <br/>- I'm a shy gal who needs time to build some confidence with a patient adopter.<br/>- Cuddles are my favorite thing!<br/>- I like to stick close to my people for comfort and reassurance. <br/><br/>My home needs are:<br/>- I need a home with kids 6 and older since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises.<br/>- If you have kids in the home aged 6-9, I will need to meet them since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises.<br/>- Wayside recommends that I meet other dogs in the home to make sure we will be best buds!<br/>- A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.<br/>- For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.<br/><br/>Hi there, I’m Tiny!<br/><br/>I’m a 5-month-old lab mix with a big heart, a soft spirit, and the sweetest cuddles you’ve ever experienced. I’m a shy little gal who’s still learning how to navigate this big, busy world. New places, new people, and loud sounds can feel a little overwhelming to me, so I like to stay close to my trusted humans for comfort. When I tuck myself against your leg or lean into you for reassurance, that’s my way of saying, "I feel safe with you."<br/><br/>Cuddling is my love language. If I could spend my whole day snuggled into someone’s arms, getting gentle pets and soft words of encouragement, I would be one happy pup. I may be timid at first, but once I trust you, you’ll see just how much affection I have to give. I bond deeply and love with my whole little puppy heart.<br/><br/>Because I’m still building confidence, I’ll need a home with a securely fenced yard. It gives me a safe space to sniff, explore, and learn at my own pace without feeling overwhelmed. It’s also recommended that I meet any dogs in the home before going with you. I can be a bit cautious when making new canine friends, and a slow introduction helps me feel more comfortable.<br/><br/>The perfect home for me is a patient, quieter one, where people understand that I’m still figuring things out. I don’t need a flashy, fast-paced life... I just need kindness, time, and someone who believes in me. With gentle guidance and encouragement, I know I’ll come out of my shell and grow into a more confident, happy girl.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a tender-hearted companion who will be your little shadow and love you fiercely, I think we might be meant for each other.
