Tiny's Story
Hi, I'm Tiny! I'm a 1-year-old female heeler. I am current on my vaccines, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative!

3 words that describe me: Friendly, Curious, Affectionate

Words from Tiny's foster mom:
"Tiny is the sweetest little comeback story you’ll ever meet. When she first arrived in foster care after a hoarding situation, she was absolutely terrified of everything—shaking, hiding in her kennel, unsure how to walk on a leash, go up steps, or even head in and out of a door. She didn’t know how to run, play, or accept affection. But wow, has she blossomed. Tiny has turned into a happy, wiggly, sunshine-loving girl who now runs around the yard, enjoys her walks, and has perfect recall—call her name and she’s sprinting right back to you. She learned a ton from the other dogs in foster care and would really benefit from having another mellow dog in her forever home. She’s fully potty trained and has settled into a good routine. She eats two meals a day, loves snacks, and has zero guarding issues—she’ll even share her bowl! She sleeps curled up in her donut bed, but by morning she’s ready to hop in bed for cuddles (sometimes with a goofy flop thanks to her teenage-puppy legs). Tiny is still a bit jumpy with loud noises or fast movements, but with a calm voice and a little patience, she’s right back for kisses. She’s learning to play, loves squeaky toys, and yes… she is a shameless sock thief. Luckily, she drops things the second you ask. Most of all, Tiny is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. Once she trusts you, she bonds deeply and becomes the best little shadow. She has come such a long way and is ready for a family who will keep helping her grow. She’s truly a joy to love."

Tiny was brought to CRHS after being rescued from a large scale animal neglect case in Juneau County where around 80 other dogs were saved. Due to my rough start, I am a bit of a shy lady when I first meet people. I would appreciate a calm living environment and my forever family will need to be willing to take things at my pace. Once I get to know you I'm super friendly and affectionate. I'll be a lap dog in no time!

Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10

Housetraining Status: Foster family says after a couple of days she is amazing!

I should do well in a home: Due to Tiny getting startled easily, any kids in the home should be 5+ who will not startle or scare/chase her. She should do well with other dogs given slow and proper introductions. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats as I've never lived with one.

My favorite activities are: Getting affection, going for walks, and enjoying the outdoors!

My adoption fee is: $300

*If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
