Tinsley's Story
Tinsley got her name during Christmastime, and it fits her perfectly — she’s bright, cheerful, and brings a cozy, festive warmth wherever she goes. Like twinkling lights on a winter evening, she has a happy, confident presence balanced with a calm, snuggly side that makes her a joy to be around.

At about 9 months old, Tinsley is a wonderful mix of playful puppy energy and relaxed companion. She loves sprinting around the yard with her resident dog friends, chasing tennis balls, and rotating through her toy bin like it’s a holiday gift exchange. When playtime winds down, she’s perfectly content curling up on the couch or a cozy dog bed to relax.

Tinsley is impressively well-mannered for her age. She appears fully house-trained (only a couple of accidents early on when her signals were missed), lets you know she needs to go out by pacing near the door, and does her business promptly once outside. She’s kennel trained, sleeps quietly crated in the bedroom at night, and settles quickly after a brief protest when crated during the day. She also knows “sit” and “shake,” and is working on “lay down” — a smart girl who’s eager to please.

Social, confident, and great with kids of all ages, Tinsley truly loves everyone she meets. She plays nicely with other dogs, shares toys beautifully, and has no known sensitivities with handling. She only barks appropriately at things like unfamiliar noises or someone approaching the home — the perfect little “holiday helper” keeping an eye out. If you’re looking for a dog who brings joy, balance, and a little seasonal magic into your life year-round, Tinsley might just be your perfect match.

Interested in adopting this dog?
Visit our website (http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs.
