Tinsel's Story
Tinsel is the definition of a lap dog. Her tiny frame fits perfectly in pretty much anything: your lap, your purse, the little nook in your arms. What this tiny 7 lbs girl lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. She knows that she is destined to be a princess, and expects nothing less. She prefers the finer things in life, and a life of comfort. She loves being held and feels safest when she’s close to her human. Tinsel seeks comfort and security from her person and will happily curl up in your arms or stay nearby just to feel connected. She is also very playful, especially when she feels relaxed and loved.

This gentle girls gets along well with other dogs and especially loves her stuffed animals, which she treats like treasured companions. Because she is so tiny, adopters will need to be very careful not to accidentally step on her, as she is often close by and underfoot.

Tinsel would thrive in a home that understands and appreciates her gentle nature, gives her lots of affection, and is happy to treat her like the princess that she is!

If you live in DC/MD/NoVa and are looking for a tiny companion, please fill out an application for Tinsel on our website to begin the process: https://forms.gle/rJeo87EVZQEFqK2B9

Due to the puppy's young age, adopter of this puppy must be home most of the day. Adopter will also be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered and include a spay/neuter fee at the time of adoption for a future spay/neuter with one of our affiliated veterinarians.

The puppy is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. The adopter will need to arrange for the puppy's spay/neuter surgery for when the puppy turns 6 months of age.

If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.foreverchangedar.org/adopt-a-pet to learn more about our adoption process.
