Then check out this opportunity to FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT with Canine Haven Rescue! We are a foster-based rescue organization in the GTA. We can only help bring these dogs out of shelters if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks.<br/><br/>Meet TINO:<br/><br/>We received a call about a small dog deep in the countryside with a large gash on his side. When we arrived, some kind tourists were waiting with him. They told us there had actually been two dogs, but the other one was too scared to catch. Thankfully, it didn’t take much convincing — just a small tin of sausages and his brother (Tino) decided we were trustworthy enough to give himself up.<br/><br/>Both dogs were taken straight to the vet. The injured dog was treated for his wound and we named him Valentine. After a couple of days of care, both boys were treated, neutered, and came to the sanctuary to begin their new chapter. It’s clear they are siblings and they are two of the happiest, most fun-loving little dogs you could meet!<br/><br/>Tino is full of personality. He walks nicely on a lead (although he does zigzag a bit, so watch your step!), has medium energy, and is always ready to play, explore, or curl up for cuddles — whatever you’re in the mood for. He would be happy living with other dogs or as the only dog, as long as he has love and attention.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate companion, Valentine might just be your perfect match<br/><br/>PS. Tino and Valentine were rescued on Valentine’s Day, which is exactly how they got their names!<br/><br/>Give this sweet pup a chance at a beautiful life and finding their forever family in Canada.
