Tinkerbell - sister to Violet's Story

Meet Tinkerbell: Tinkerbell is a 6 month old (as of March 2026) Staffordshire terrier / lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 27 pounds. Tinkerbell and her sister, Violet, were found in someone's garage shivering and hungry and huddled together during a recent snowstorm in Memphis where the temperatures dipped into the single digits. A good human helped them out by feeding them and taking them to the city shelter where we learned of them and were able to get them into our rescue. Tinkerbell is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Tinkerbell was a little shy in the shelter but over the days of being in a home attentive to her needs she has begun to overcome her shyness. Tinkerbell still is working through being shy, but she has found a girlfriend dog that she likes to hang around with who is helping her come out of her shell more. Day by day she is becoming more engaging, affectionate and a happy tail-wagging dog. Tinkerbell is in a home with a doggie door and may need some patience while she continues to work on her house training. We would love for Tinkerbell to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Tinkerbell is up to date on her puppy shots and spayed. If you are interested in adding this bud into your life to watch her blossom, please go to Charlie's Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.

CURRENT LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA.
