Tinkerbell's Story
Meet Tinkerbell — a little sparkle with a whole lot of heart. Tinkerbell has a playful side that still loves a good zoomie session, but don’t let that fool you — this is a super chill gal at her core. She enjoys some daytime fun, then happily settles in for a cozy, couch-potato kind of night. Short walks are her speed, especially if they involve lots of sniffing, rolling on her back, and enjoying the world at her own pace. She’s a certified car-ride enthusiast, happiest with the back windows down a bit so she can sniff the breeze and keep an eye on what's going on in the neighborhood. At home, she’s adaptable and charming — she’s been known to sleep under the covers with her people, or sprawl out in front of a fan when she needs to cool off. When she’s feeling excited, she’ll happily entertain herself with soft, stuffed toys. Brains to match the beauty: Tinkerbell knows sit, paw, other paw, down, roll over, and spin, and she’s 100% housebroken. In playgroups, she’s done well running around with other dogs and would likely be fine sharing a home with another respectful canine companion. (Cats, however, are a NO — she will chase.)<br/>Her former foster family summed her up best: “Genuinely the greatest dog.” If you’re looking for a dog who can enjoy life’s little joys — fresh air, soft blankets, belly rubs, and a good couch — Tinkerbell is ready to settle right in and make herself at home. She's 6 yrs. old, weighs 53 lbs., and is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and vaccinated. ID#60143158 Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL
