Tina's Story
Meet Tina, a gentle soul with a heart as big as her playful spirit! This gorgeous girl is a unique mix of Labrador, Pitbull, and possibly even a herding breed, giving her a one-of-a-kind look and an even more extraordinary personality. At about 70 pounds, she’s got some solid “main character energy,” but don’t let her size fool you—when Tina gets excited, she turns into a delicate little dancer, prancing around with her whole bottom wiggling. It’s impossible not to smile.

Tina is estimated to be around 4–5 years old and is hoping to find her forever family to share all her love, loyalty, and goofy antics with. She has a playful side with a sweet, dainty playstyle that makes her a joy to be around. She’s great with kids, though because of her size, a home with children 10+ would be ideal to avoid any unintentional toppled toddlers.

This girl is a total social butterfly with other dogs and loved her shelter playgroups. She absolutely adores her foster brother, and the two have become the cutest pair of best friends. A canine companion not only makes her happy, but will also help her work off those extra pounds she’s aiming to lose.

Tina does have one unique quirk—she can be fearful of men at first. But with patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, she learns quickly that she’s safe and warms up beautifully. She’s a smart girl who listens well, is easily redirected, and truly wants to please her people. She’s also proven to be cat-friendly, peacefully living with cats in both her previous home and her foster home.

Tina loves getting out for walks—you can tell it was part of her routine in the past. She may pull a bit on the leash when something catches her nose, but she does wonderfully with a harness, which is a better fit for her size. She already knows “sit” and “down,” and just when you think she’s had enough affection, she’ll gently paw at you for a little more love. This girl soaks up every bit of attention she can get!

This Christmas, give your family the most perfect gift—welcome Tina into your loving home. She promises you won’t be disappointed.

Please click the link below to apply to adopt!
https://form.jotform.com/lmg516/behart-adoption-application
