Timothy Pit Bull Terrier Mix Colorado Springs, CO

Timothy is such a lover boy. He found himself at a small overcrowded shelter and was facing euthanasia, but the amazing staff members advocated for him and got him to safety with us!

Tim really is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He can be a little shy at first but melts into your arms and soaks up all the love you’re willing to give him after a few minutes. He is very intuitive and is always looking into your eyes to see what you’re feeling. He loves plushy toys and enjoys chewing on his bones. Timothy is currently living with his foster mom in an apartment and is doing great! He would do fine in an apartment but also a house with a yard. He is more medium energy and as long as he gets his wiggles out, he is content to just hang out.

Timothy does very well in his kennel and is potty trained. Timothy has been attacked a few times by other dogs (at the shelter, in boarding, and once on a walk) so he does not do well with other fogs due to trauma unfortunately. The poor boy gets scared and reacts negatively but has been working on reducing his reactivity. He would still do best without other dogs in his forever home. He would do well with children, but does not do well with cats! Tim just wants a home that will give him love for the rest of his life! Could it be you?

Timothy is located in Fort Worth, TX. We do transport dogs to Colorado straight to your home once you are approved to adopt. We understand the importance of matching the right dog up with the right family, so our process includes phone calls, picture and video exchanges, as well as FaceTime meetings so you can meet the dog virtually in many ways and discuss your preferences with us to determine if the dog is a good fit. We do charge a $250 transport fee on top of the dog's adoption fee.
