Meet Timothy! This wonderful little dog was found as a stray in Salt Lake City and is now residing in foster care with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue. He looks to be a chihuahua/dachshund mix who's about 3 years old.<br/><br/>Timothy is a total sweetheart of a guy! He gets along great with both cats and dogs and he bonds easily with people. He is appropriately quiet when he's inside, but he loves to run and play in the backyard. So he would do best with an active family who doesn't expect him to just be a lap dog. But he's also a great lap dog and a little cuddle bug. He's also been kid-tested and mother-approved, although because of his size he can easily be startled or injured, so children over the age of 6 is best.<br/><br/>Timothy is very eager to please, sensitive to correction and learns quickly. He is easily trainable, and could even learn some fun tricks. <br/><br/>The family that adopts him will be very lucky. It will be required that his adoptive family have a very securely fenced yard, as Timothy is a little escape artist and can squeeze through the smallest openings. We suspect that's why he ended up in the shelter as a stray, and we don't want that to happen again! It's not that he tries to run away, but he's just a busy and curious dog that wants to explore. So he needs a home where he will get walks and daily stimulation to satisfy his curious nature.<br/><br/>Timothy is neutered and up to date on his shots. His adoption fee is $75.
