Timon (Fostered in Omaha)'s Story

Timon is a gentle giant, still learning the world around him. After a rough start, he's discovering what it means to feel safe and cared for. Timon isn't the kind of pup who needs to be right on top of you. He's happiest lounging on his bed in the same room, quietly soaking up your presence.

He's making great progress in his foster home: almost fully potty trained, learning basic commands like sit and come, and figuring out that not everything is a chew toy. His favorite pastime? Playing with balls... chasing them, carrying them, and enjoying the simple fun they bring.

Timon will do best with a patient family with another resident dog who can help Timon build confidence. In return, he'll offer calm companionship, gentle affection, and the joy of watching him grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be.

The adoption fee is $450 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.

Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!

If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.

***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.

Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission.
