COURTESY POST<br/><br/>We are helping a wonderful family rehome their beloved boy Timmy, a 6-year-old, 6-lb Chihuahua mix who has been loved since birth and is now looking for a quiet, patient forever home where he can truly thrive.<br/><br/>About Timmy<br/> • Age: 6 years, 3 months<br/> • Neutered<br/> • Vaccines: Last rabies & all vaccines were done in May 2022 but will be updated before adoption<br/> • Crate trained: <br/> • Born the smallest of his litter, named “Tim” for timid — and he still has a gentle, shy nature<br/><br/>Personality & Temperament<br/> • Very sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented<br/> • Loves to burrow under the covers at night and sleeps soundly in bed<br/> • Timid with larger dogs — would do best as the only dog, or possibly with a calm, similar-sized female<br/> • Great recall — comes running with his tail wagging when you call “Timmy, Timmy, Timmy!”<br/> • Enjoys being held and cuddled — he was literally born into his family’s hands<br/><br/>Food & Routine<br/> • Eats a healthy home-cooked diet: ground chicken, scrambled eggs, fresh veggies, and supplements<br/> • Loves his meals and finishes his bowl twice a day<br/> • Has an excellent internal “food clock” — he’ll remind you when it’s mealtime!<br/><br/>Home Preferences<br/> • A calm household with lots of stability<br/> • Preferably no large dogs<br/> • Best as an only dog so he can feel safe and secure or a possibly a small female well mannered dog<br/> • Someone who enjoys snuggles — this little guy loves being close<br/>* He will do best in a home without children<br/><br/>His current family will provide:<br/> • His crate & bedding<br/> • His favorite toys<br/> • His beloved rawhide chews (which keep him entertained for hours)<br/><br/>If you’re interested in adopting Timmy, please complete an adoption application on our website at www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org
