Timber's Story
Meet Timber... a young, double Merle Aussie mix. Timber is blind and deaf and while he may not see the world or hear the sounds around him, he feels it all — especially love, cuddles, and belly rubs! This brave little pup is bursting with energy, curiosity, and a joyful spirit that lights up every room he enters.

Timber loves to explore his surroundings using his incredible sense of smell and touch, and he has a wonderful way of finding his people and nuzzling in for affection. Timber plays with toys (especially crinkly or textured ones!), enjoys romping around in secure spaces, and thrives with a consistent routine.

Timber is learning hand-touch cues and responds beautifully to gentle physical guidance and positive reinforcement. He will do best in a patient, loving home that understands his needs and is excited to help him navigate the world at his own pace. Timber is house-broken, crate-trained and is doing pawsome on his leash training. He is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Timber is proof that you don’t need sight or sound to be happy — just love, trust, and a place to call home. If you're looking for a special companion with a heart twice his size, Timber is ready to wiggle his way into yours! If you are interested in meeting Timber please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
