Introducing Tim, Howard, and Daisy: A Tale of Resilience and Hope

Last weekend, three dogs were discovered abandoned in La Puente, CA, having endured approximately 2-3 weeks without food or fresh water. Among these resilient canines is Tim, a 1-year-old Chihuahua who, despite being an indoor dog, found himself fending for his survival outdoors. Tim's playful nature and spastic energy are evident, and he gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Although malnourished, Tim is in overall good health and is now fully vaccinated, fixed, and ready for his furever home.

Howard, a 2-3-year-old Pit mix, also faced abandonment and neglect, yet his spirit remains undaunted. Despite his challenging past, Howard is a happy and playful companion. Upon rescue, he was found malnourished and with minor issues, including fly bites on his ears, which have been treated and are healing well. Howard, too, is in overall good health and eagerly awaits a loving forever home.

Lastly, we have Daisy, a 2-3-year-old Pit mix who, unlike the boys, is expecting puppies. Daisy's journey is one of hope and anticipation as she awaits the arrival of her little ones. The exact stage of her pregnancy is yet to be determined, but one thing is certain – she will require a significant amount of care and support as she prepares to become a mother.
