Tim's Story

Tim is looking for a home!

Name: Tim
Age: Approximately 11 months
Breed: Hound X
Sex: Male, neutered
Up to date on vaccines
Microchipped
Estimated Adult Size: 60-70 lbs.
Tim is a lovable young guy with no shortage of cuddles to give. Truly - this boy is a professional snuggler. A gentle head scratch is all it takes for him to melt right into your arms.

Still very much a puppy, Tim has a beautiful balance of calm and playful energy. He's just as happy joining you on an outdoor adventure as he is being a cuddly couch potato on a lazy day at home. His favorite place is wherever his people are (preferably close enough for cuddles).

Like most hounds, Tim experiences the world nose-first, but his hound instincts pretty much stop there. He has shown no noticeable prey or hunting drive - this guy was clearly made more for love than work!

During his time with his foster pawrents, Tim has shown just how smart and well-mannered he is.
He is:
· Affectionate and people-oriented
· Calm, gentle, and easygoing
· Playful without being over-the-top
· Well-mannered for his age
· Eager to please and quick to learn

Tim does have a unique bend to one leg from a fracture he sustained as a young puppy. To help postpone and slow arthritis in that leg joint supplements and maintaining a healthy weight will be important,. Also he does have to gain some more lbs. right now. Despite this, Tim shows no signs of discomfort or pain and happily romps around without a care in the world.

Tim would thrive in a calm, patient home. He can be a bit clumsy, so a home with older children would be best. A friendly, calm canine companion would be a bonus, as he's grown up around other dogs - but he'd also be perfectly happy as the only pup soaking up all the love.

If you're looking for the perfect mix of affection, goofiness, easygoing companionship - and lots and lots of cuddles - Tim might just be your perfect match.
