Tilly's Story

You know those moments when life introduces you to someone who radiates bravery, courage, and vulnerability—and even in the face of adversity, chooses joy? We’d love for you to meet Tilly.

Tilly came to us as the smallest puppy in her litter, but her tiny size has never held her back. She happily plays alongside her siblings, runs straight to us for snuggles, explores her surroundings with curiosity, and showers everyone she meets with affection.

Early on, we noticed that Tilly didn’t always respond to sounds or track movement the way her siblings did. After a visit to the veterinarian, we were told she may be blind. We believe she can see light and shadows, though it’s unclear how much more than that. While this was initially heartbreaking for us—knowing how much sight means to humans—Tilly has shown us something truly special. She has taught us that life is about adaptation, resilience, and finding joy regardless of limitations. Her happiness is constant, her spirit unwavering.

Tilly was born around October 7, 2025. She is a German Shepherd mix; while we’re not sure of her exact mix, we do know her mama was a German Shepherd. Tilly is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She will be adopted with a voucher to help cover the cost of her spay when she is old enough.

Tilly may experience the world a little differently—but her capacity for love, joy, and connection is limitless.
