Tilly's Story
***Tilly***
@1 year old female yellow Labrador Retriever.

Hi! My name is Tilly. I'm approximately 1 year old and weigh 58 pounds. I'm a spayed female who got lost in Cleveland and was picked up by Cleveland Animal Control. Thankfully, the wonderful people at Lab Rescue came to get me when my previous family didn’t come for me. I have lived in a home before.

I’ve been told I’m smart and adorable, but I already knew that! I’m a happy girl who loves life in my foster home. I LOVE going for car rides and walking in area parks. I also like spending time with my people and chewing on Nylabones. I eat and sleep in a crate without any complaints and have quickly settled into their routine. I know how to do my business outside.

Currently, I’m living with two Labrador sisters and two dog-savvy cats. The cats are really interesting, and while I find it fun to chase them, I keep getting in trouble for it, so I need a home without any cats. At first, I was a little pushy with my Labrador sisters, but I now get along with them just fine.

Also, due to my prey drive, I need a home with a physical fence or another way to keep me safe. An Invisible Fence would not work for me.

I love meeting new people and dogs. I am smart and learn quickly. I’m very enthusiastic and need regular exercise and mental stimulation to avoid getting bored. It would be great if you had a job for me! I would love to snuggle with you on the couch ;-)

I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash, but there are so many little critters I want to chase on our walks that it can be a challenge.

I don't live with kids in my foster home, but the ones I met at the pet store were nice, and some let me kiss their faces!

It's really nice where I'm living now, but I know I'm not meant to stay here forever. They tell me I need to find my furever home so they have room to help another Lab, just like they did for me.

Are you my furever home?

If you'd like to meet Tilly and are an approved LELRR adopter, refer to the instructions in your approval email.

Otherwise, please fill out an application at: https://www.lelrr.org/adopt.html

Be prepared to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and year-round heartworm preventative for any current or recent pets that you have owned.

Adoption radius is 150 driving miles from Medina OHIO
