Tilly's Story

Tilly is a healthy, active, and stunning 1.5yearold pittie mix who weighs about 45 pounds and has the sweetest heart you'll ever meet. She's equal parts athlete, comedian, and worldclass snuggler.

Tilly has never met a stranger. She adores every person she encounters, even at the vet, and will happily curl up with anyone who offers a lap or a shoulder. She greets you with fullbody joy—whether you've been gone for two hours or two seconds—and her morning wiggles make every day feel like a celebration. When you walk through the door she gets the zoomies when she sees you. It's adorable. Tilly's motto is "no bad days."

She's curious about everything and will gently poke her head into anything new just to investigate. She cuddles like a little human baby, complete with soft snores and sweet Tilly dreams.

Tilly is incredibly smart and loves learning. She already knows sit, shake, down, and a cute spin trick she seems to have learned before arriving in Denver. She is potty trained, has excellent recall, and will sprint to you with a huge smile the moment you call her name.

She's also a kennel queen—she settles easily, sleeps through the night without a peep, and treats her crate like her own cozy bedroom.

Tilly has recently learned to fetch and proudly brings the ball back every single time. She loves:

• Squeaky balls

• Tennis balls

• Anything that bounces, rolls, or squeaks

She also has a real fascination with water—hoses, sprinklers, puddles, snow... if it splashes, she's interested.

Tilly is a healthy little foodie and absolutely lights up for dogsafe fruits and veggies. Some of her favorites include:

• Strawberries

• Blueberries

• Bell peppers

• Broccoli

She's always excited to try new dogsafe produce in addition to her regular treats, and she takes them very, very gently and politely even when other dogs are around.

Tilly is a highdrive, athletic young dog who would thrive with an active adopter. She is fast, loves to jump, and could absolutely shine in agility or other dog sports. Her longjump and highjump skills are genuinely impressive—Olympiclevel in spirit and enthusiasm.

Enrichment toys like her Benebones and Woof ball keep her busy and help her settle in beautifully.

Like many young, energetic dogs, Tilly has a couple of areas she's still working on:

• Backyard critters: She takes her yardpatrol duties seriously and prefers that squirrels and bunnies stay out of her fun zone.

• Leash reactivity: She can get excited or reactive when seeing other dogs on walks. With consistency and positive training, this is very workable —she's smart, foodmotivated, and eager to please.

She has zero aggression around food or toys and waits patiently when treats or bones are handed out. She's a true gentle sweetheart.

Tilly would love a home that can match her energy, continue her training, and enjoy her goofy, affectionate personality. She's a peoplelover through and through and would be happiest with someone who enjoys snuggles as much as she does.

Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.

You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.
