TILLY's Story

This is Tilly, Tilly was adopted from our shelter as a puppy in 2017. She is now 8 years old and found herself back in the shelter today. The family had a baby, and Tilly didn’t like to share her space and belongings as much and nipped the child in the face leaving small scratch. The family was torn and really struggled surrendering Tilly but thought this was the best decision for their family. I am determined to find Tilly a home where she can live out her years and feel loved again. She is a sweet girl that needs someone to help her. Please help Tilly as she is already shutdown and sad being back at the shelter. She doesn’t understand, she recognizes the kennel and is confused why she is here. About Tilly: (Spayed, 8 years old, microchipped and vaccinated) -good with kids over 8 -lived with a dog around her size for 7 years but has been only dog for over a year now (dog interaction required) -grew up around cats! -doesn’t like dogs smaller than her -very sweet, and loves to cuddle -very mild energy, and chill girl! -crate trained -fully potty trained -knows a lot of commands! -great listener -has occasional allergies & gets meds for this -per family, around adults never has guarded her food, toys etc! Does around small children. -very well mannered -she wants to be wherever her people are! -she loves walks Tilly would thrive in a home with no young kids, she is so sweet and just wants a place to retire in and a couch to nap on??????
