Tilly's Story
Tilly was found all alone in a vineyard in the Central Valley. She was very scared and it took several days, lots of tasty treats, and ultimately a dog trap to finally get her inside and out of the cold. Unfortunately, she is not microchipped and no one claimed her. Fortunately, Dogwood made room for her and things are definitely looking brighter for this sweet girl. Tilly seems to be a Lab type mix, with long lanky legs and exuberant energy. She's maybe 2 years old and around 50 pounds. She's missing a few inches of her tail, but it doesn't stop her from wagging it a million miles an hour!

Tilly doesn't seem to have a lot of life experience. It's clear she's never seen a leash before, and she is still getting used to indoor life. She is very food motivated, which is a huge plus for training, and she already learned "sit" and loves to play fetch. She has been great meeting the other dogs in her foster home. She is shy when first meeting new people, but quickly warms up and is a bouncy, silly girl once she knows she's safe. Tilly will be available after spay and medical clearance.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
