I'm a handsome little man who is neutered and up to date on my vaccinations. I am a long haired Chihuahua and I am 3 years old! I weigh about 9lbs so I fit perfectly in your arms to carry around or the perfect size to snuggle in your lap! My son and I were rescued from a Backyard Breeder almost a year ago. I know I am handsome, but man am I glad to be done with that lifestyle! Not cool. I really am enjoying my life with less dogs around. I am looking for a new home due to my current humans not really being dog savvy people. They are used to having cats and no one told them that just because I'm small like a cat, that actually owning a Chihuahua can be a lot different sometimes. I'm just grateful they got me out of my former situation. I will always be grateful. I am not 100% potty trained. I will go outside when it's nice out but I am used to a belly band that I wear indoors. I am also Kennel trained! Pretty awesome huh?! I don't mess in my kennel at all. I am used to going in there when the humans leave or at night time. It's my safe place. <br/> <br/> I live with adult female humans and some senior cats. The senior cats are not much fun. When they try to sneak past me, I chase them. They don't like that and run like heck but I think it's a riot heheheh! My humans are not fond of the way I choose to entertain myself with the cats so I try to stop, but it's so hard!!! My humans think a younger cat that likes to play with dogs or a cat that won't tolerate my shenanigans would be a better fit for me. I also live with one of my pups from my last litter! He's a pretty cool dude. I mean come on, he's MY son! We play a lot together. We like to chase after toys that are thrown for us and then wrestle with them. The humans here are very entertained by it and think it's absolutely adorable!<br/><br/>I do have my favorite human in the house. I follow her around the house so that I can be where she is in case she needs me to love her. We lay together and we hang out all the time when she is home. She's the best adult ever! When she's at work, I often just lay around till she gets home. Sometimes when I'm not sure when she will be home, I often walk around the house looking for her; just in case she snuck in when I wasn't looking. <br/><br/>I'm a true cuddle bug! I love laying on laps, in arms, on couches, on the floor next to you, in a bed, or even high up on a plushy chair! Annnnnnd I grew my hair extra fluffy for anyone who wants to run their fingers through it...can! Ok, well not anyone. I'm not the biggest fan of strangers or new people that come into the house. I will alert the whole house that someone came in the door...even if you are right there next to me! I just don't know who they are or what they are going to do to me so I am not a fan. If the new person decides they still want to stay, I will quiet down but I try to keep my distance from them. My humans keep telling me that these people are ok but I'm just not so sure. A trainer even came out to the house to show them how to give us some house rules and how to make us feel more secure but the ladies of the home are truly just cat people at heart and are having a difficult time getting us to trust strangers. It's ok though, I know the right person is out there for me. I know that person will be able to show me that not everyone is scary and that I will actually like seeing new places and checking out what the world has to offer! <br/><br/>If you like a low key lifestyle, I'm your guy. I've never experienced adventure or traveling so if you are a homebody and want a snuggle bug to pass the time away with...I'm your man! If you are looking for a dog that likes walks and you want to go on adventures I'm very willing to give it a go if it will make you happy and you are willing to work with me on helping me gain some confidence! I can't wait to meet you!!!<br/><br/>*Due to Tiko's uncertainty with strangers, we are requesting that he not got to home with children under 14.
