Tikka Poodle Mix League City, TX

Hi, I'm Tikka, and how could anyone resist such a beauty? I'm a gorgeous 12 pound youngster (estimated DOB 7/4/2017) who loves to play with my new best bud at my foster's (a border collie) and snuggle with my foster. I was picked up as a stray and no one came to claim me at the shelter so now I'm looking for a new home to call my own. I love everyone, especially kids. I am presently living with a cat who has a lot of experience with dogs. I will chase a cat if they run, but it's because I'm still learning that cats play differently from my dog pals. I'm a quick learner and having a ball learning so many new things at my foster home – how to walk on a leash, how to ask to go outside to potty, what a crate is, and other house manners. My foster says that I'm a quick learner but will bark at strange noises (isn't that what a dog is supposed to do?) so I may not be a good fit for an apartment. If you are that family that knows how smart and beautiful a poodle can be with lots of love and attention, I'm the one for you!

Adopter for Tikka must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for Tikka is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to pets2adopt@yahoo.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.
