Born 6/24/25 , he is said to be a lab/black mouth cur mix and will probably be medium to large size as an adult. Tiki is housebroken, he does well in his crate and he is working on leash skills. Tiki is very smart and determined to learn new things. He knows “sit” and working on “give paw”. Tiki is a very well mannered pup around kids and adults. He does great with all size dogs and ok with cats. Tiki has now started to be socialized in different environments with different people. Tiki would be a great family dog that would enjoy being included on new adventures. Potential adopters should be committed to continuing to work on training, enrichment, and socialization with Tiki so he can grow into a great canine citizen. Tiki’s Adoption fees are $400. This includes age appropriate vaccines, completed wellness exam, microchip, and neuter at one of our contracted vets at 6 months of age. *HWMAR presents the information in these bios based on our foster observations and any information presented to us regarding prior living conditions, breed specifications. Congratulations on deciding to rescue an animal in need. Everything we do for these animals is based on helping them find a great forever home and we are excited for the lucky animal that you will welcome into your home. Requirements for Adoption *You must be over 21 to adopt *You must fill out either a Cat Adoption Application or a Dog Adoption Application *All resident animals must be up to date on shots and have been altered (or a vet letter as to why they are not altered). *All members of the household must be in agreement to adopt an animal. *All members of the household are required to be at the meet and greet prior to final adoption. *You are required to have your animal spayed or neutered per IL state Law. Failure to do so will result in the relinquishment of your animal back to HWMAR. ** ** PER IL STATE LAW (225 ILCS 605/3.3), you are REQUIRED to have your animal spayed or neutered within 14 days of being deemed healthy by a licensed veterinarian. This is Non-Negotiable.
