Tiggers's Story
Meet Tiggers
Tiggers is an older German Shepherd mix who isn't looking for a crowd, a busy household, or constant company. He's looking for one person. His person.
Do you know a lonely guy out there? Someone older, steady, a little weathered by life, who understands that trust takes time and loyalty is earned? Tigger is on that same wavelength.
He is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and loves walks. He settles in nicely and appreciates routine and calm. Tigger has had a very hard life and has been in and out of the shelter many times. At one point, his future was so bleak that he was going to be shot. We stepped in and got him to safety, because his story wasn't supposed to end that way.
Tigger carries his past with him, and because of that, he needs someone who understands that there may be bumps in the road. He's not perfect, but he is real. And once he bonds, he bonds deeply.
This is a dog for someone who isn't looking for flashy or easy. He's for someone who values quiet companionship, shared walks, and the kind of connection that grows slowly and lasts.
If you're that person, Tiggers is waiting. And he's worth it.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped.
