Tigger *IN FOSTER*'s Story

Thank you so much for your interest in Tigger! Tigger is currently living in a wonderful foster home. If you would like to meet Tigger for a possible adoption, please email our foster coordinator Kris, at kris.gurka@foothillsanimal.org to set up an appointment.

Meet Tigger – Your Bouncy, Ball-Chasing Best Friend in the Making!

If you’re looking for a pup with a heart full of loyalty, a nose for adventure, and just the right amount of mischievous charm—Tigger might be your perfect match!

Tigger is a one-year-old terrier with endless curiosity, a playful spirit, and a serious love for fetch (especially with his favorite ball, which he loves to hide so you can find it—because hide and seek is more fun with a teammate). He’s got a playful streak a mile wide, is food and toy motivated (will sit for treats... or at least try), and he’s basically a car ride connoisseur. Did someone say pup cup? Say no more—he’s in the car before you can grab the keys.

This clever boy sleeps through the night in his kennel, is almost fully potty trained, and is soaking up new commands like a sponge (a slightly distracted, easily excitable sponge, but progress is progress!). He’s cat-approved and ready to be your co-pilot in life.

Tigger’s heart is as big as his bark, which he’s still learning to tone down—especially around new people. He’s protective, incredibly loyal, and just needs a little help remembering that strangers can be friends too. With patience, structure, and some tasty bribes (did we mention he loves snacks?), he’ll be well on his way to being the polite gentleman he’s meant to be.

Tigger's journey is just getting started—he's looking forward to being someone’s new best friend. Could that someone be you?
