Tigger's Story

Hi there, my name is Tigger! I am a 6-year-old male heeler. I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped.

3 words that describe me: Shy, Loyal, Friendly

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I wasn't socialized super well in my previous home, so entering the shelter was quite a scary experience for me. With that being said I have been making progress every day. It may take me a bit to warm up to a new person, but once I do I just want to be by your side and get all the affection I can get! My friends at CRHS highly reccomend I go into foster-to-adopt before adoption, but it's not required.

Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10

Housetraining Status: I am still working on it, but with a consistent schedule and lots of praise I should learn quick!

I should do well in a home: Due to my shy and skittish nature any children in my potential home will need to be 10 years or older. I am required to meet any and all dogs in the household before adoption. I ignored the cats in my previous home.

My favorite activities are: I like sitting in a calm environment with my human and getting affection.

Things I need work on are: Socialization and confidence, basic commands, housetraining.

Any special needs: N/A

Doggy day out notes: N/A

Daycare Status: N/A

My adoption fee is: $300

Training Requirement if applicable: N/A

*If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
