Tierra's Story

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.*

Hello, my name is Tierra and there are so many great reasons to meet me! I am a 5 year old American Blue Heeler, spayed, fully vaccinated, and in good health. I am 85 pounds of intelligence, curiosity, and working-dog drive but should probably be closer to 65 pounds. I am calm with men, and absolutely light up around women and children-they truly make me giddy :) I warm up quickly to strangers, live peacefully with cats, and am comfortably housebroken. If you give me treats, you get bonus points in my book!

My ideal home would have acreage to explore, space to run, and a job for me! In open spaces you will see me curious, engaged, and alert; but in a small yard I must protect my space with barks and guarding language. If you are someone who understands my drive, you will be rewarded with lots of love from the bestest doggo! To find out more, fill out your adoption survey with C.A.R.E. today!
