TicTac is a 5 year old, 15 lb Smooth Fox Terrier / Chihuahua mix (this breed identification was made by Texas vets, all we know for certain is that this pup is absolutely irresistible). This little guy had a scary start in life but despite this, TicTac is such a sweet, affectionate boy. From the moment you meet this irresistible guy, it’s impossible not to fall in love with his sweet personality packed into his little dog body.<br/><br/>TicTac absolutely loves being close to his people, whether that’s curling up on your lap for a nap, snuggling under a blanket. Our little guy is also fun-loving, sweet as can be and loves the company of both other gentle dogs and kind people.<br/><br/>TicTac will do really well in a home where he’s showered with love, affection and attention. He’s a social little guy who thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with an individual or family (older children or no children are preferred to avoid any tail-pulling or rough handling) who work from home or active retirees who can offer him the full time love and care he deserves.<br/><br/>TicTac's new family needs to have the motivation, energy and open heart for a little rescue dog. New rescue dogs require training and tons of love to nurture a positive attitude about the world. In return TicTac will be a loyal and loving best friend and the greatest lap (or couch) dog ever. When this adorable pup falls in love, he falls hard. He gives 100% of himself to his relationships with both his people and his canine companions.<br/><br/>Since TicTac is curious and super-smart dog, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. He has all the potential in the world to be an awesome adult companion. TicTac will form firm bonds with his family and learn positive socialization skills through virtual or in-person positive reinforcement Obedience Classes. These classes will make a profound difference in a dog's's ultimate behavior and in his relationship and bonding with his people. It does take time and commitment yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you out in the world with excellent behavior.<br/><br/>Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement / force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt TicTac out to a home that doesn't choose to offer him this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement / force-free virtual or in-person trainers in your area.<br/><br/>TicTac has been fully vetted and vaccinated to adhere to Farfel's protocol of only adopting out healthy dogs.
