Now it’s Tia’s turn to shine ✨<br/><br/>This little 6-pound sweetheart is equal parts playful puppy and slightly shy observer. She can be a tad reserved at first, but once she feels comfortable, her personality comes out in the cutest ways — especially her love of “talking.” Yes, she has opinions, and she’s not afraid to share them!<br/><br/>Tia loves:<br/>• Playing with her brother<br/>• Snacking (who doesn’t?)<br/>• Zooming around<br/>• Being part of the action<br/><br/>At just a year old, she still needs all the typical puppy basics — potty training, leash walking skills, and continued socialization to help her grow into a confident adult dog. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. APPLICATIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY EMAIL ONLY. Adoption process includes application, meet & greet, home visit and reference check. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
