Meet Thunder

Meet Thunder! Thunder is a younger and sweet boy at 2 years old. He is a large boy- around 80lbs. Thunder is outgoing and friendly! He would do well with children and would prefer to be the only dog in the home, although would potentially do well with another cal dog- he is dog selective. He has met cats and done well as he has a low prey drive. Thunder is a gentle giant. He is calm, walks on the leash well, and appreciates a could couch to hang out on. He would make a wonderful family dog!

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
