Thumper's Story

At about 2 years old and 15 pounds, this Papillon mix skipped the delicate butterfly look and went straight for “mini lion with main character energy.” With his gorgeous cream coat and bold presence, Thumper looks like he wandered out of a tiny safari and decided suburban life might suit him just fine. Traditional Papillon features? He said no thanks — he’s doing his own thing, and it’s working.

Thumper is sweet and social, happy to spend time with his people and soak up attention when it suits him. But he’s also got an independent streak that says, “I love you, but I also have things to do.” It’s a refreshing balance — affectionate without being clingy, confident without being over the top. Basically, he respects your space… and expects you to respect his. King behavior.

On leash, Thumper absolutely shines. He walks with purpose, like he’s got important meetings to attend and a kingdom to patrol. No nonsense, no chaos — just a smooth, confident strut that turns a simple walk into a full experience.

His name fits, too. While he may not be out here stomping dramatically, he definitely makes an impression wherever he goes. Thumper doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed — he just is.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. His 4DX test is negative for heartworm and tick-borne disease, because even tiny lions believe in staying in peak condition.

If you’re looking for a dog who brings a little majesty, a little independence, and a whole lot of quiet charm, Thumper is ready to rule your heart — gently, but with authority.

Want to meet him?
