Thor

Thor is a 2 year old Labrador Retriever who was beaten, starved and abandoned. He took refuge in the local hardware store and one of our volunteers was contacted to help Thor. Thor was covered in sand fleas and had lost a lot of hair from an allergy to these fleas and starvation. He also has heartworms. He has made a near complete recovery in a short time with medications, love and good kibble. BARC will sponsor the medication for his slow kill heartworm treatment. He will also be neutered when he has gained a little more weight and before going to his furr - ever home. Thor also has a healthy fear of the road. Thor is housetrained, gentle, good with other dogs and likes cats. He is a gentle giant who is very receptive to TLC.
