Thistle

Meet Thistle! This sweet girl is an absolute gem and the kind of dog who makes being her companion feel effortless. Thistle is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. She’s very much a low-key girl who prefers to take life at her own pace. She loves people, adores belly rubs, and is happiest simply being near her favorite humans. She also does wonderfully with other dogs and is perfectly content to do her own thing.

Thistle is a 5-year-old female mixed breed weighing 32 pounds, with a beautiful brown and white coat. She walks nicely on a leash and is wonderfully non-reactive, making her the type of dog you can take just about anywhere. Whether you’re strolling around the neighborhood, relaxing at home, or heading out for an adventure, Thistle is happy to go with the flow. And when it comes to car rides, she is a total pro! She’ll settle right into the seat beside you, snooze the miles away, and happily accept a shared snack or two.

If you’re searching for a laid-back best friend, Thistle may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. She’s the perfect mix of sweet, steady, affectionate, and adaptable. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention; she simply wants to be by your side and enjoy life with you. Thistle is a true hidden gem, and she’s ready to find someone who will appreciate just how special she is.

Adopting from the SPCA of the Triad means giving your new companion a healthy and happy start!
