Theodore's Story

I'm Theodore, a dashing young terrier mix and all-around love machine! I'm the sweetest, cuddliest boy you'll meet. I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray, and I'm a medium-size fellow, around 35 pounds. My estimated birth date is July 2025, so I'm still a youngster. I've had a blast representing HSYC at community events and meeting new people. I'm definitely an aspiring lap dog! I'm a great car rider and leash-walker, and I do well with other dogs. I'm in school at Zoom Room in Fort Mill, where I'm learning my basic skills like sit and down. Like all puppies, I'll need a forever home where I can continue my training - and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family while I learn and finish growing up. Our adoptions are by appointment only. Please call our rescue at 8038020902 to make your appointment today. Please visit our NO Kill Rescue located at 8177 Regent Parkway to see if a connection is made. We are open to the public: Tuesday 1pm - 4pm Thursday 1pm - 4pm Friday 1pm - 6pm Saturday & Sunday 1pm - 4pm We do NOT currently support online applications. You must come in, connect, then ... per pet... apply for adoption. The adoption process will be assessed and explained on site. If you have pets currently at home, they must be up-to-date on shots and spayed or neutered. You must be 21 years of age to apply for a pet. More details can be shared on site during the adoption interview. Our goal is to place our pets into their furever -most suitable home- weighing many aspect such as personality, energy, etc...We look forward to having you come in and seeing if one of our pets is YOUR FUREVER!
