My name is Theodore, Theo for short. I’m an adorable, young Border Collie (??) who is looking for a forever home. I’m very busy and active, as most Border Collies are. I am VERY smart and learn quickly. My foster mom is a trainer and behaviorist and has been working with me on feeling more secure and comfortable. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, crate trained and housebroken.<br/><br/>My adoption fee is $250.00. My new home should be active (Border Collies need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation), but kind of quiet when it comes to having people over. If someone was home a lot, that would be great, but I do fine crated when no one is home. A fenced in yard would be fabulous because I love to run around, but it is not required. <br/><br/>There are some things you need to know:<br/>• I would enjoy having another dog to play with, Once I get to know them, we will become best friends. I currently live with two Boxers and my foster mom boards dogs. I get along with everyone great. PLAY is the word of the day. <br/>• It takes me awhile to warm up to new people, but once I get to know you, I will be yours forever, however, I probably won't be a social butterfly. <br/>• Because I’m a bit of a nervous Nellie and little children are fast and loud, my new home should have children over the age of 12. <br/><br/>I really am a sweet little fella, just need to be given a chance to shine. I have come a long way since arriving in rescue. My new family must be patient and committed to working with me. Formal classes are a requirements of adopting me but once completed, $100.00 will be refunded to you. Plus, if you are near my current home, my foster mom will offer three (3) lessons at no charge.
