We have rescued quite a few Cocker Spaniels over the years but this handsome guy is definitely one of the most unique. Theo is a blue-eyed, parti-colored boy who is about three years old. His family surrendered him to a local shelter stating that someone in their home had become allergic to him. He was a matted mess with long, unkempt toenails like talons but he cleaned up quite nicely, don’t you think? Theo is still skinny, only 17 pounds at this time when he should be at least 20 pounds at his optimal weight. He loves to eat so it won’t take long to fatten him up. Theo is a sweet boy who loves to be petted and to follow you around the house. He crates well and does great on a leash so he could do fine living in an apartment or a home without a fenced yard. He is a great passenger on car rides. He loves to ride shotgun and he knows that he has to stay in his own seat. Theo gets along fine with other dogs but he would be just as happy on his own without other 4-legged siblings.<br/><br/>Theo is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming.
