Upon intake, he faced significant health challenges, including a severe flea infestation and dental issues that resulted in the removal of three infected teeth, leaving him toothless. Despite these obstacles, he has a vibrant spirit and is thriving on a canned food diet. While he occasionally makes a nasal sound due to the effects of his tooth loss, this does not hinder his joyful disposition. Theo is deaf but compensates with an endearing personality, relishing moments spent snuggling on the couch and burrowing with his human at night. He has also developed a newfound enthusiasm for playing with balls, showcasing his playful side that can last for hours. Currently in a loving foster home with other small dogs, he demonstrates a friendly demeanor, although he does not get along with cats. While he may need some assistance with potty training—being less reliable with potty pads but doing well with regular potty breaks—Theo is eager to find a forever home where he can share his boundless affection and enjoy a fulfilling life.
