Meet Thelma & Louise - a bonded duo! Thelma and Louise are an adorable pair of best friends who came to us as strays together and were never reclaimed. These two have clearly decided they're sticking together for life-and honestly, watching them is like seeing peas in a pod. Louise is a 2-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix, and Thelma is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix. Both girls are friendly, bouncy, and full of happy energy. They're easy to leash, walk nicely with only minimal pulling, and enjoy being out and about-especially if it means being near their people. Thelma and Louise absolutely love human companionship. They prefer to stay close, will happily tolerate being picked up and held, and are well-behaved little dogs who soak up attention. Their bond with each other is just as lovely: they share treats and toys politely and are rarely seen apart. If you're looking to double the love, laughter, and cuddles, Thelma and Louise are ready to bring joy to your home-together, just as it should be.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control's Adoption Policy

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control does require an adoption application to be completed prior to adoption. The information includes your name, address, phone number, and email. Please return application in person. No online adoptions. All current dogs/cats must be sterilized and current on rabies to adopt from our shelter. Anyone can adopt from the shelter, not just Henderson residents. The shelter does reserve the right to deny an adoption if the potential adopter fails to meet standards. Adoption fees. Cats/kittens are adopted for $80 each. Dogs/puppies are adopted for $90 each. Ferrets are adopted for $70 each. Bunnies are adopted for $35 each. These fees include the routine vaccines, spay or neuter surgery if not already done, microchip ID and registration, and a rabies tag or Henderson License (depending on where you live).
