Meet Thelma<br/><br/>Eight years ago, Thelma left Ruff Dog Rescue and became part of a family who adored her. She had a home, people who loved her, and her sister and lifelong companion, Louise, always by her side.<br/><br/>Then, through circumstances completely beyond her control, Thelma lost the people she loved and found herself back at Ruff Dog with Louise.<br/><br/>And now, heartbreak has found her once again.<br/><br/>Louise passed away unexpectedly, leaving Thelma to navigate life without the sister who had been beside her for virtually her entire life. <br/><br/>Thankfully, Thelma has been surrounded by love in foster care, where she has shown us again and again what an incredibly special girl she is.<br/><br/>Thelma is the definition of an easy companion:<br/><br/><br/> Fully house trained<br/> Calm and beautifully well-mannered<br/> Quiet — even in our busy rescue environment<br/> No chewing, no chaos<br/> Completely non-reactive to other dogs<br/> Sweet, affectionate and gentle<br/> Happiest simply being near the people she trusts<br/><br/><br/>At just over eight years old, Thelma isn't looking for a complicated life.
