New dog alert!! Meet Thea, a beautiful Black Lab mix, spayed female who is around 2 years old (our best guess)! Thea is a smart and inquisitive pup who will do absolutely anything for a treat! We believe this will make her incredibly trainable - and her passion for toys also makes her a great candidate for training, sport, or a true "job"! Thea loves to play and will bring you the ball and "encourage" you to throw it! Thea has so much promise and just needs the right person to hone her skills so she can be a champion (or just a best friend!)! Thea is energetic and driven so she's not looking for a couch potato home! She'd be great for an active person or couple. Thea has shown a little guarding behavior around her food bowl so she'd prefer a home where she can eat her meals in peace, in a safe spot like a crate or quiet room! Thea suits a home with no children for this reason. She shows interest in other dogs but since she might not want to share treats and toys, she'd be best as a solo pet in her forever home.
