The Foodies <3's Story

Hi there!

We are The Foodies:
-Beans (the only boy)
-Chalupa (light brown little girl)
-Meatball (the chunkiest & fluffiest)
-Oreo (black & white girl)
-Pepper (black & white girl)
-Tater (dark brown girl who MAY be a foster-fail for her foster family)

We are about 9 weeks old and were brought into a shelter when we were just tiny kids found wondering the streets — we had awful flea infestations, skin infections, and intestinal parasites that were thankfully treated by the shelter…we are now happy, playful puppies all looking for a place to call home. While the rescue doesn’t know our exact breeds, they’re guessing we are shepherd/lab mixes of some sort. We will likely be medium-large dogs once full grown and some of us have very fluffy hair.

We’d prefer fenced yards or very active families.

Our rescue offers $50 off adoption fees for military (active and retired), vet staff, and first responders.

Applications can be completed using the link below. Please note: virtual home checks and vet checks are part of our application process.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SBVT/Dog

Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings/fecal testing, microchips with lifetime registration prepaid by the rescue, and being started on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Spay/neuter is also covered by the rescue once we are old enough as long as our proffered clinic is used (located in Westland, MI).

We will go home with a Trupanion Certificate good for 30 days of free pet insurance and a VCA Healthy Start Certificate good for a free exam within 14 days of adoption. Any additional vet care post adoption (including booster vaccines and continued heartworm/flea/tick prevention) is the responsibility of the adopter.
