Texas's Story

Texas is a handsome cattledog mix with a lot of heart and energy to share. He was originally adopted from us as a puppy and recently returned through no fault of his own when his family moved to housing that couldn't accommodate a dog. He can be anxious or unsure at times, but once he settles, his affectionate and playful side shines through.
In typical heeler fashion, Texas is curious, smart, and a bit of a puppy at heart! He enjoys staying active, does well playing alongside other dogs, and has previously lived successfully with a cat. He can coexist with friendly canine companions and would benefit from continued structure and positive outlets for his energy. While he may be a little anxious in the car or in new situations, familiarity and routine help him feel more secure.
He's best suited for a home with older kids (7+) who can respect his space and understand his signals. With an adopter who appreciates lively dogs and is willing to continue his training and enrichment, Texas has all the potential to be a loyal, funloving companion once again.

My adoption fee is $350 and includes the following:
-Spay/neuter surgery
-All current vaccinations
-Microchip
-FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals
-$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
