Let's be honest. Tex isn't perfect. He can be a little hard to get to know. He does well with women but has some trust issues with men. He is not the right dog for just anyone, but be patient and give him some time so you can both begin to build a relationship on trust. He is actually very loving and smart and gives the best hugs in the whole world. Tex loves belly rubs, toys and treats and he loves playing with other dogs. He has found several playmates at the shelter and loves to wrestle and tumble. If you have any concerns about Tex getting along with your dog, we are always happy to do a Meet & Greet to make sure they are compatible. <br/><br/>We think he will do best in a home without children. He is not aggressive but he does best with an owner who can be his "pack leader". He responds really well to correction and will look to you for guidance.<br/><br/>You will have to be willing to make some effort with him, but it will be worth it.
