Tex's Story

Hi, I'm Tex! I'm 4 years old and fully vaccinated. I was saved from the euthanization list at the Houston shelter. The volunteers at the shelter nicknamed me "Tender Tex" because I'm such a sweet boy. I love everyone and I'm very well mannered. I have a long life ahead of me and I'm looking for my perfect home. Will it be with you?

Embark Empathy's Adoption Policy

First, the potential adopter would need to fill out an adoption application. Then we would schedule a call to discuss everything in detail including the pet of interest and the environment. After this, we would schedule a meet and greet if the potential adopter is local and if not, then a video call for them to see the pet. If all goes well, then we would proceed with the adoption, they sign the necessary forms and provide the adoption fee and then we would transfer the pet to them.
