This dog is currently participating in our prison dog training program in Miami, Florida.<br/><br/>Our dogs become available for adoption upon completion of their training program where they meet all the criteria to pass the following AKC certifications:<br/><br/>1. AKC (American Kennel Club) Canine Good Citizen (CGC)<br/>2. AKC CGC-Advanced<br/>3. We know because his inmate trainer counted them <br/>Tempo is a 1-1.5yr old Dalmation with a striking split face. <br/>Found as a stray, he's been vetted, neutered, chipped and is currently enrolled in training. He'll be ready to go home end of July. Maybe even a little sooner! <br/><br/>He is a submissive, gentle soul. Dog friendly, easy going, and showed social loving behaviors towards my 9 year old son. <br/><br/><br/>Tempo will make a lovely family companion for older kids and a quiet yet social home. <br/><br/>Ideal Home:<br/><br/>Active Lifestyle: Dalmatians are high-energy dogs that thrive in active environments. They require regular exercise and enjoy activities such as running, walking, and playing fetch.<br/><br/>Space to Move: A home with a large, secure yard is ideal. Dalmatians love to explore and play, so having enough space for them to move around freely is beneficial.<br/><br/>Family Environment: Dalmatians are known for their friendly and social nature. They do well in family settings where they can interact with children and adults alike.<br/><br/>Companionship: These dogs are known for their loyalty and companionship. They do best in homes where they can spend quality time with their owners and not be left alone for extended periods.<br/><br/>Homes That Are Not Appropriate for Dalmatians: <br/><br/>Small Living Spaces: Apartments or small homes without access to outdoor spaces may not be suitable for Dalmatians due to their need for exercise and room to play.<br/><br/>Infrequent Exercise: Homes where the owners are not active or do not have the time to commit to daily exercise routines are not ideal.
