Templeton (Courtesy Posting)'s Story

URGENT - The CAGSR is courtesy posting this cute boy at the Animal Care Center in need of a home as his time is running out. We have not met him, and only know information below provided. You can also find him on the Animal Care Rescue website (link below).

I’ve had Templeton out on two day trips and he did really well! He loved riding in the car and hiking and jogging at the park. He was good on the leash and did not react when passing dogs, cats, or horses. He was also good at the house and did not have accidents or engage in any destructive behavior. He is alert and food motivated, however he does take treats a bit roughly. I also reach out to the shelter and here are some of the key points they noted:

Favorite Activities: Playing fetch, going for walks, car rides, hiking.
Skills: Sit, stay, knows his name, takes treats roughly (toss only).
Great Qualities: Affectionate, loves the outdoors, enjoys being with people.

IDEAL HOME SETUP:
A home with experienced handlers who can provide a structured environment, training, and ongoing support for his anxiety and handling sensitivities. A home without
small children due to his rough treat-taking and sensitivity around the head and neck area. An environment with a secure yard and plenty of outdoor activities would be beneficial. On-site meet and greet with resident dogs strongly recommended.

This link will take you to the organization posting of Templeton providing additional information. https://cincinnatianimalcare.org/adopt/adoptable-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=54715803
Please consider him.

Please contact kate@academicincubator.com for more information.
