Teller is a happy-go-lucky petite little male beagle who will just melt your heart when you meet him. He is an active and loves to play, and gets along great with dogs and cats! Teller is crate-trained and we are working on housebreaking him.<br/><br/>If you're interested in adopting Teller, please first read about our adoption process. Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small, relatively easy to handle, and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have healthy beagles that they no longer need. That's when they release the beagles to us. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, socialization, and eventually, forever homes for these sweet dogs. It gives us and you a chance to give back to the beagles that have sacrificed for the advancement of science. Please email us if you're ready to be a giant hero in the eyes of a little dog!
