I've been neutered, and I'm up to date on my vaccinations and microchipped for added safety. If you have other furry friends or children at home, I'd love to meet them and see if we'll get along famously. After all, I'm quite the Houdini with a keen nose for adventure, but my heart longs for a loving home to call my own. Since I have already been neutered, there are no geographical adoption restrictions.

Thank you for considering adoption from the Stafford County Animal Shelter. Before proceeding, please note that we do not have an on-site veterinarian. Therefore, it's essential that you arrange for any necessary veterinary care for your new furry friend outside of our facility.

To begin the adoption process, please bring along a valid photo ID with your current address. If your address isn't on your ID, a current bill displaying both your name and address will suffice alongside your picture ID. This verification helps ensure the welfare of our animals.

Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, with the process closing 30 minutes before the shelter's closing time. You're welcome to visit us during our regular hours:

Monday to Friday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays: Closed
