Teddy's Story

Teddy is a small but mighty terrier mix with a lot of personality packed into a compact body.

He came to Real Good Rescue after being found roaming the streets, eating trash behind a parked car. Since then, he’s received full veterinary care and is now vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and healthy. Most importantly, he’s been settling into foster life really well and learning what it means to feel safe and cared for.

Teddy does best with routine and clear expectations. He takes treats very gently, and thrives when things feel calm and consistent. Around food, structure is key, and he’s doing well with the setup he has in place.

He’s equal parts walk buddy and couch potato — happy to go on a good walk or a mini hike, and just as happy to relax at home afterward. Teddy has warmed up nicely to everyone he’s met so far, and he continues to build confidence with patience and consistency. House training is a work in progress, and he’s responding well to routine and positive reinforcement.

Teddy would be a great fit for an adult-only home with someone who appreciates a dog who does best when life is predictable and steady. In the right environment, he’s a fun, charming little companion who just wants to know where he belongs.

Real Good Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Los Angeles, CA.
Learn more at www.realgood.dog
.
